Academic Support
Here are a few campus resources that I frequently refer students to during their academic career for academic support. Each resource has excellent services to help students be academically successful.
Disability Resources and Educational Services works with individuals with disabilities to participate in and benefit from the curricular, co-curricular and vocational opportunities available at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign through the collaborative promotion, provision and/or pursuit of innovative accommodative and educational services, and interdisciplinary disability research.
Office of the Provost provides excellent information and resources about initiatives on the Urbana - Champaign campus. I recommend using the Programs & Courses page which has information about First year Discovery, campus minors, and more.
Office of the Registrar is responsible for student records. Further, the office supports new student matriculation, registration services, class and events scheduling (including final examinations), posting of transfer and study abroad credit; assists with degree audits; and produces the Courses Catalog, Class Schedule, official academic transcript and diploma.
Division of General Studies provides information about Academic Resource such as tutoring and other resources available through various departments on campus such as Office of Minority Student Affairs, University Housing, and others.
